Tom Clarke M.P. meets residents at Open Day

Open Weekend – Tom Clarke M.P. donates a Bottle of House of Commons Whiskey to be raffled.

We held our first open weekend on the 17th & 18th of April. The weather was kind to us on both days, the sun was shining on the homes, making it a nice day for visitors to walk between he homes. We had a marquee again this year, laden with hot pies, the most amazing cream cakes and copious amounts of tea & coffee. The focal point in the marquee again was the model of Red Deer Village- visitors could see how the Village will look when it’s completed.

This year we had a very special guest on the Friday….. Mr Tom Clarke MP for Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill who took a day off election campaigning to spend a few hours chatting to residents and visitors. Mr Clarke had previously visited the Holiday Park during Tourism week and was so impressed, he wanted to visit the residential village. Mr Clarke brought a very special gift with him… a bottle of House of Commons Whiskey which we will raffle off over the course of the summer. Just pop into the village, visit the main office and fill out one of the visitor cards for your chance to win this exclusive Whiskey.
