British Heart Foundation Donation

British Heart Foundation

Red Deer Village donated £150.00 to the British Heart Foundation at the beginning of April. The British Heart Foundation is a fantastic charity that, above all, delivers life-saving treatment to people with heart disease. Furthermore, they research heart and circulatory disease preventions, treatments and cures. Red Deer Village aims to continue supporting UK charities at all times throughout its operations.

Red Deer Village is an exclusive over 50s retirement and semi-retirement community, with residential park homes available. Its new residents’ hub has hosted several charity events so far. Including a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising £652.83 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Also, a Christmas Lights Switch-on, where £250 was donated to Make A Wish and £250 worth of presents to the Salvation Army. These were distributed to kids in the local area.

The park also has a charity box sitting next to its coffee machine in the residents’ hub. Residents, guests, visitors and staff can donate when enjoying a beverage or exchanging a book. This rotates on a monthly basis, raising donations for a variety of charities.
