Local MSP Surgery in Residents’ Hub

MSP Surgery

Fulton MacGregor, our local MSP, hosted a surgery in our residents’ hub.

On Friday 4th May, Fulton MacGregor, Red Deer Village‘s local MSP, hosted a surgery in our residents’ hub. Many of our residents attended, bringing to the MSP their issues which he aimed to resolve. This is another great use for the residents’ hub!

This is Fulton MacGregor’s second visit to the park. He performed the grand opening of our residents hub in September 2017 with Hugh Gaffney, MP, and Rufus Bellamy, son of renowned botanist, David.

Fulton MacGregor is the MSP for the Coatbridge and Chryston area in the central Scotland region. He is a member of the Scottish National Party.

Since the hub’s opening, it has hosted a range of weekly activities such as a book club, slimming club, knitting bee and Qi Gong class. It has also hosted many charitable events, such as a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising £652.83. Furthermore, it has hosted a Christmas lights switch-on, where £250 was donated to Make A Wish, and £250 worth of presents were donated to the Salvation Army, to distribute to kids in the local area.

We look forward to welcoming Fulton MacGregor back for another MSP surgery in November!
