Beginners Bumblebee Workshop

Bumblebee

Bees are a hot topic in conservation right now. Therefore, we have teamed up with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to run a beginners identification workshop on Saturday 14th July. This session will be a great chance to learn more about bees. Additionally, you can learn how to tell the difference between the species we have in Scotland and what we can do to conserve them. So, the workshop will be at Drumpellier Country Park 10am – 3pm. Please contact the Trust directly on the link below for more information and to book.”

The Bumblebee Conservation trust work to save bees. Guided by the latest bee and pollination science, and their policies and practices, they work to monitor and evaluate their activities. As a result, they carry out a range of projects, science, research and land management advice.

Seven Lochs Wetland Park is a new large scale heritage and nature park which stretches across the Glasgow/ North Lanarkshire council boundary between Easterhouse, Coatbridge and Stepps. It is easily accessible from central Scotland’s road and rail network. The Seven Lochs gateways host a range of events for people of all ages. For example, explorer walks offer opportunities to discover the park’s hidden heritage.
