Become Bee-Friendly

Save the UK bee population from disappearing!

The UK’s bee population is rapidly decreasing due to many flowers being removed from our landscape, leaving bees with very little to feed on. Without bees, our flowers and crops that provide us with food to eat will not be pollinated. Without them, many wildflowers would disappear and many fruits and vegetables will not be able to be produced. However, you can help save the bees by planting bee-friendly flowers that are plentiful in pollen and nectar from spring until late summer. Some flowers that are good for bees include roses, sunflowers, tulips, daffodils, cornflowers, bluebells, geraniums, camellias, dahlias and poppies. Get planting!
