Busy Bees

Bumblebee

Our busy knitting ladies enjoyed their last knitting bee of the year with a small Christmas party!

On Monday 18th December, the last knitting bee of the year was held in the Residents’ Hub. Our busy knitting ladies had a small Christmas gathering, with homemade baking and non-alcoholic mulled wine, while they knitted and chatted away.

The knitting bee is held every Monday in the Hub at 2pm, and lasts for around 4pm. Many of the ladies on the park already attend, and for those who don’t, we’d love to see you when they start back again on Monday 8th January 2018!

The knitting bee is just one of the activities held in the Hub, and continues to maintain the feeling of community that is valued so strongly at Red Deer Village.

Another activity beginning in January in the Residents’ Hub is a Book Club, which will be hosted by Mary Wilson, a resident of the park. This will begin on the 11th of January, and will take place on the second Thursday of every month. It will begin at 2pm. All residents are welcome!

Below are some pictures of the last knitting bee of 2017.
