Class 8 Visits Red Deer Village

Class 8 from Langlands School in Glasgow visited Red Deer Village to see the different types of homes we have.

The class (all special needs children) have been working on a project about houses since the school term began in August. Their teacher Mrs McVey approached John and Ivan to request that the children could come and see the chalets and other homes we have on both the Residential Park and the Holiday Park.

The children enjoyed their visit to the park and went for a tour of the holiday park to see the types of chalets and holiday homes available there and also toured a few of our homes for sale. The pupils were amazed at how warm and comfortable all of the homes were and one young man didn’t want to go back to school.

Mrs McVey, thanked Red Deer Village for allowing the children to come and said it made a big difference in the children’s understanding when they can see what they are studying in real life and not just in books.

John and Ivan commented ” We are delighted to have been able to have Class 8 here today and that they enjoyed their visit to our park. We are happy to provide some additional information and pictures for their class project and hope that they will come back to show us their work once it is completed.”
