Glasgow Wood Recycling is a social enterprise set up in 2007 to combat the amount of wood needlessly sent to landfill.
They look for as many ways to reuse the wood as possible from providing bird houses/ feeders to pieces of furniture/ garden planters etc. (see www.glasgowwoodrecycling.org.uk).

This community enterprise also provides job and training opportunities and woodworking skills to local people as a practical way to tackle poverty and social exclusion.
