Colin Coiley the trainer was very impressed with the turnout and the interest the residents showed in trying out the extinguishers for themselves.

Residents enjoyed the practical experience of “putting out a fire”, although were surprised at how much effort was needed to pull the pin out. Every resident in attendance asked questions and took turns in using the equipment available to them, some residents brought there own extinguishers and Colin checked them out. Colin also gave the residents some helpful hints about equipment for fighting small fires in the home.
